The proper way to retweet when commenting

Written by:

Tony Romo RT @akatito Who is the quarterback for the Cowboys?

Here’s why… If you comment after it can be confusing because there is no natural break between what was originally written and the comment. Example

RT @akattio Cowboys suck. …You always say that

A reader may interpret the tweet as @akatito saying that the cowboys suck and retweeter always agrees or as @akatito saying “the cowboys suck” and the retweeter commenting that @akatito always makes that statement.

The RT before a retweet is a consistently reoccurring barrier which ultimately lessens confusion.

Remember to

RT @akatito Retweet this post
